Epic Mud at Governor's Ball Music Festival - NYC

We had a music festival here a couple or three weeks ago, and because of all the rain we've had for the past month the grounds were quickly turned into a muddy morass. Unfortunately I was busy that weekend and didn't have the opportunity to attend, but even driving past there were lots of sightings of girls in lovely boots either muddy or about to get that way

There was a drizzle that Friday afternoon, but after monitoring the social media feeds at work all day, it did not seem like there were sufficiently muddy conditions to make the trip. There was some rain overnight Friday into Saturday and only later in the day did I realize that there were some areas of the festival that had a bit of mud. There were a few pics from Instagram that popped up and when I went out Saturday night, I caught sight of some mud-stained footwear on the train. Overall, I should have made the trip Saturday, but don't feel like I missed anything that great.

A heads up to this weekend, the Farmborough Festival is taking place at the same site - and Saturday night into Sunday morning, there is supposed to be heavy rain. May make the trip over on Sunday and see whats up...
