Very nice. Did you scrape the ash off after it cooled down and take some more pictures?
Would love to see what damage the hot ash did, if any. Are you going to do some more to these boots? (Please?)

These boots need to be run through the washing machine on the hot cycle to soften them up. Repeat the washing machine runs a few times. Dry them out and then maybe you can burn them.

The damages are not visible... It seems that the ashes were not so hot . So more things will happen !
