Yes the salt water did quite a job on them. They do look like beach shoes now. Not sure what people would think if I wore them to dinner in this condition.

I would have liked to keep the water in them but that wouldn't have been a very good demonstration of how to get water out of your boots, would it? :) I have lots of photos on my site where I wet my boots. And on several other sites too. And working on compiling all the wet and abused boots ...
