Any type of shoe abuse. Broken heels, well worn shoes, scuffed shoes, torn shoes, shoes run over by cars, shoes dragged on the ground, crinkled pointy toes, shoes sawed in half, shoes run over by cars, lost shoes, shoe trees, trample, crush, etc. Any other discussion or photos having to do with shoes, boots or other footwear, abused or not, is welcome.

Alle Arten von Schuh-Missbrauch. Abgebrochene Absätze, sehr getragene, abgenutzte, verschlissene, zerissene, überfahrene Schuhe. Schuhe über den Boden gerschliffen, zerknitterte Schuhspitzen, zersägte, plattgetretene, zerquetschte Schuhe, verlorene Schuhe, Schuhbäume etc. Jede andere Diskussion oder Fotos im Zusammenhang mit Schuhen oder Stiefeln oder andere Arten von Schuhen, missbraucht oder nicht, ist willkommen.

Had that happen when I was a teenager. I stumbled on one and lost a shoe. It bounced over the plate at the bottom but the laces got caught and dragged it back to its fate. The escalator tore the soft leather uppers off the sole and just ate them. The ripping sound was so loud and echoed about the place, sounded like the poor shoes was screaming in agony as it was ripped apart and consumed.
No the escalator did not trigger an emergency stop or anything and just kept going.

Wow, great find Josephine. I have seen heels caught in the elevator but never totally shredded and eaten by the escalator. I wonder how many times he practiced that before he set up the camera and got the video.

It is pretty well done CG. The texture of the shoes does not match the background though.
