The owner of these ankle boots had a good time at the party. She absolutely did not spare her suede heels when she fell into the mud in them. Shoe repairmen cleaned the suede so that the girl could use these ankle boots again.

Refurbished, these elegant low-heeled shoes are waiting for new devastating challenges... That's what those expensive Hogl shoes were like before.

That's what those expensive Hogl shoes were like before. The leather is peeled and torn, inside the shoes there is complete destruction.

I love the before pictures. The woman has just worn the crap out of those poor shoes. I love to find them at the thrift store like that but most thrift stores don't put out for sale well worn shoes but straight into the garbage. Thanks for the pictures.

If you have any in town, I'd recommend Goodwill outlets. Most sell by weight (last check it was like $1.49 per pound). They have plenty of shoes that were either unreliable or couldn't sell st the stores.

Thanks Converselover. I went to a goodwill outlet store. The closest one was a 50 minute drive. I bought 4 pair of shoes, The weight was 2.66 lbs at $ 1.19 per pound for a cost of $3.17. There were 6 blue tables of shoes and boots bound together with rubber bands. There were some singles that I couldn't find mates for. Many pair were in bad shape, worn, torn and dirty. (I like that). I used a little basket but many shoppers had grocery carts full of stuff. At the check out counter There was a scale in the floor to weigh the whole cart. I won't be going every week, but it was a great adventure.

I scored one of my favorite pairs back in around 2010 there.
It was a pair of classic leather penny loafers, brand already worn away.
They were full leather from upper to sole, soft yet firm like good worn calfskin and smelled heavenly with a hint of quality perfume.

Lost them sometime along the many moves, but I would have paid $200 for them at any chance today. I was more into shoe abuse back then, but always spared them. :D
