Does anyone have access to one of these devices?

Post by 001 »

I have been looking online at some pothole videos and fixing them recently over Christmas. That made me wonder what something like one of those 'foot tampers' would do to a pretty high heeled shoe if it was put down on top of her and set off? Worse still maybe one of those plate machines with a bigger template for squashing and possibly more power.
I have searched online but could not find any examples of someone using one in a fetish way for squashing things let alone shoes. I wondered if anyone has one and if so have you used it on a shoe or do you think it would not work? I imagine that rapid and severe up and down motion would just obliterate a pretty shoe in an instance.

That sounds like a great way to abuse pretty High heels. Those tampers are available at most equipment rental places along with wood chipper and asphalt roller. Happy tamping.

Alas I have severe restrictions to my mobility due to my hips and have to use walking aids to get about and even then often falling over. As much as I like the idea I am pretty sure H&S regulations would prevent me from being allowed to operate one, not to mention my wife!

Love to see some shoes splattered under one of these though so if anyone else has access to one or knows of a video etc that would be great.

Wishing you good health in 2025. We share The same ideas about abusing vintage shoes. I wonder where that idea comes from.
When i find videos I will post them here.

I wish anyone here a great and healthy New Year and that the world will not run into more serious trouble.
Seeing vintage lady's shoes to be abused or burnt gives me a very strong trill.
I was grown up in the sixties and there had been discarded lady's shoes simply everywhere. Most of them ended in stoves, wood burners or open trash fires. That's the reason why shoes from that century trigger my shoe destruction fetish most.
Can't wait to see your vintage videos.

Yes, back when I was a child when walking to school, (it was only a couple of miles in the UK.) I would have been about 7 or 8 years old and would call on a friend who lived about half a mile nearer to the school than me.
We would pass loads of shoes of all sorts in the kerbs up against the pavement. I haven't idea how they got there, but you got boys, girls, men's and ladies all mixed up spread along the road. The ladies were the ones that interested me of course. This would have been late 1960s early 1970s, like I said where did they all come from?
Back in the day we used to get vehicles going around to clear drains, they were colloquially know as either drain suckers or if we were feeling more naughty we call them brain suckers. Basically they belonged to the local council and went round every couple of days sucking sheet out of the drains. But when they were not doing that they just slowly drove about the road in the kerb area with a brush down and the suction woul suck the rubbish including all the poor ladies she's (and the others.) up into the beasts belly. A bit like a sucking dustcart. It would drive over the shoes squashing them flat with the wagons front wheel then the brush would collect them. You would see them jigging about everywhere inside the bristles before a quick sucking would would whip it away up inside the mo ster never to be seen again.
These trucks patrolled into the middle 1980s I understand but now they do not. Whereas once there was a big fleet of them now there is not. I think that they have a couple of new versions in case of emergencies but the budget cuts over the last 40 years gradually put pay to them just keeping on top of the infrastructure, now you have to wait until drains are blocked and it has flooded and you may get one if you are lucky.
One of my mates father called Cedric, used to drive one of these in the 1970s & 80s which I at the time thought was very cool.
